I just tweeted:
Farewell Glen Campbell. You were the best studio musician and voice in Nashville's history and we all will miss you. J Cash Lives.
When you visit Glen's site you'll see available his "Farewell Album" which is almost eerie as he past on today at the age of 81.
It's been said that the WWII generation was the greatest generation because of the bravery of the men (and women) who fought and died for a patriotic country. During that time and shortly after Country Music made its mark on the hearts of Americans and now in recent years many have "gone home"; Waylon, Johnny, George Jones, The Hag and others and today, Mr. Glen Campbell.
Today Glen left us after a battle with Alzheimer's and our prayers go out to family and friends.
Here are a few videos to honor the man and his legacy and my own video with my song "On the Other Side" which will hopefully console fans during this time.
Glen had a ton of hits but I'm choosing to highlight this one; Try a Little Kindness. I like to think this is a piece of advice that he would leave with us. Rest in Peace my friend and we will see you on the other side!
